Pricing

Two things are sold here: a monthly local SEO retainer, and a one-off website build. They are separate. You can buy either on its own.

Every figure below is a starting price. The final fee is confirmed in a written scope before any work begins, and it does not change after that without your agreement.

Local SEO retainers

PlanMonthlySetupFits a business at
Starter£499£500Under £250,000 annual revenue
Advanced£699£300£250,000 to £1m
Pro£1,098£1Over £1m, or multi-location

The setup fee is charged once, at the start. Note that it falls as the monthly rises: Starter carries the largest setup fee and Pro carries almost none, because the Pro monthly absorbs it.

Websites

A website is a one-off fee from £1,200, quoted before any work starts. It is not a monthly cost and it is not tied to a retainer.

What moves the price: the number of pages, whether service and location pages are needed, whether existing content can be reused, and whether the site is a new build or a redesign of something that already exists.

Where the two meet

The Pro retainer includes a custom website at no extra cost. That matters if you were going to buy both anyway. A website bought on its own is £1,200 or more as a one-off; on Pro it is included in the £1,098 monthly.

So the comparison is not tier against tier, it is Pro against Advanced-plus-a-website. If you need a new site and you sit near the Pro threshold, Pro is usually the cheaper route. If your current site is sound and only the visibility is the problem, it is not, and Advanced or Starter will serve you better.

If you are on a boundary

The revenue bands are a guide to what a business at that size normally needs, not a rule that gets enforced. What actually decides the tier:

  • How many services and locations need to rank. One service in one town is a different job to six services across four towns, whatever the turnover.
  • How competitive the local market is. A crowded trade in a large city takes more work than a specialist service with three local competitors.
  • What state the site and the Google Business Profile are in now. More remedial work up front means more of the early months go on fixing rather than gaining.
  • Whether a new website is part of the plan. See above; this is often what settles it.

If you are between two tiers, say so when you get in touch. It is a short conversation and starting on the wrong tier helps nobody.

What is not included

Stated plainly so there is no surprise later:

  • Paid advertising spend. Google Ads budget is paid by you to Google, and is not part of these fees.
  • Third-party costs. Hosting, domain registration, paid plugins, stock imagery and paid directory listings are billed at cost or arranged in your own name.
  • Content you supply. Photography of your own work, staff or premises. It helps a great deal, and it is not produced here.
  • A ranking guarantee. Google controls its results. No tier buys a position or a date.

How billing works

Retainers are monthly and ongoing. A website is a one-off fee. The payment schedule, the term and the notice arrangements are set out in the written scope agreed before work begins. See the terms of service for how that works.

Prices on this page are current at the time of writing and may change. A quoted fee is fixed once it is in your written scope.

Which service do you need?

Local SEO if you cannot be found. Web design if the site is the problem. Both together if the website is holding back the rankings as well as the enquiries.
